At little Minds Learning Center it is our mission to provide a premier child development experience that is both educational and affordable.
Our facilities are part child care, child development, and preschool and are certified for children 6 weeks to 6 years that offer you a premier child development experience. Little Minds Learning Centers are now serving the communities of Hudson, WI and River Falls, WI. On December 1, 2011, we will open the doors on a brand new facility service the communities of Onalaska and LaCrosse, WI!
The center’s founder, Stacy Barnhardt lives in Wisconsin, and has two of her five children enrolled in the Hudson center. Our teachers are all certified in by the state and possess and/or are pursuing degrees in early child hood, elementary, science, music education, or other related fields.
The Experience Little Mind Learning Center Provides
To ensure our children and parents have a premier experience, we use standards based curriculum developed by High Reach. We have cipher-lock entry, computer log in, and redundancies built into the classroom to ensure we know exactly where your little one at all times. We provide a secure log in to the center’s closed circuit television camera system, so our parents can check in on their little one(s) throughout the day. We serve whole foods that are cooked on site by a food and nutrition specialist. If you see chicken nuggets on our menu, our nutrition specialist has cut the chicken, breaded it, and baked it on site.
We have many methods of communicating with our parents regarding the center, current initiatives, and the progress their little one are making towards the goals that the teachers and parents agree to focus on; as we weave their individual goals into the day to day curriculum for all children 6 weeks to 6 years. We offer Baby Sign Language, Baby Yoga, Spanish as an additional language, science labs, diagnostically driven/parent contracted goals for teaching, and a plethora of teachings styles, strategies, and equipment to aid in the education process. It is our belief that early childhood development should be a balance of teacher supported learning, the natural learning that occur when children interact and discover, and a solid contract between parents and teachers in a partnership in developing your little ones.
